Bleach was one of my favorite series and the moment Hinamori was introduced, I really liked her. I absolutely love the way the costume came out. It's extremely comfortable to wear and it came out all nice and crisp looking. I'm very proud of it.

The two top layers were very easy to do since all they consisted of were a bunch of rectangles sewed together. The hardest part for me was figuring out a pattern for the hakama pants. Sewing the pleats down was the most frustrating and time consuming part. The black and white material was some sort of heavy cotton, I don't remember exactly what it was called. The bun cover was a piece of felt and the badge was made with craft foam. My dad and I bought the sword at a costume/party store then modified it to look like Hinamori's zanpakutou.
